About
Maybe I just watch too much Top Chef or read too many food blogs like so many other people today, but, really, I just love cooking and food and the community that surrounds it. I’m a college student in Manhattan, try to eat healthy foods (most of the time) and be conscious of what I’m eating. I keep Kosher, don’t eat meat often, love tasting foods from all over the world, and making things from scratch. The foods that I put on this blog are mostly quick and easy, but come out looking impressive and tasting great. This blog is part family traditions, part experiments, and part recipes culled from magazines, newspapers, and blogs… Enjoy!

Hi Jessica,
I saw Marc’s message through Plaxo and decided to check out your blog. Your recipes look great! I really want to try the Lemon Poppyseed Shortbread. I spent a couple of years in search for a great pizza dough recipe. I finally took a cooking class with an instructor from Dewey’s Pizza. One secret to their dough is a slow cold rise in the refrigerator overnight or longer. A really good flavor develops with the longer rise.

Hey Jessica,
Just saw a posting for your blog on Facebook. What a great place to get great recipes (and you know how compulsive I am about getting other peoples’ recipes!)
I’m looking forward to checking back here often. Hope all is well!

I am looking for kosher blogs. It is nice to be able to make almost anything on a blog. Glad, I found you.
